Josh Tandy is Co-Founder and Managing Partner of BUILD Capital Partners. Since co-founding the firm in 2018, he has led legal strategy, structure, governance and compliance for BUILD and its portfolio companies. Josh is a founder and director of Pure Infusion and works closely with Memory Treatment Centers, both companies BUILD co-founded. He has been part of BUILD's work in Chile since the firm opened BUILD Chile in 2020.

Prior to BUILD, Josh was a partner at Nexo Capital Partners, which connected companies in North and Latin America with investment capital and business development expertise. Before Nexo, he was a team manager in the Private Wealth Management group at Goldman Sachs, where he managed a global team responsible for regulatory compliance, risk management, trade execution and technology agreements across the platform. Josh holds a J.D. from the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University, and that legal training shapes how BUILD structures its companies, investment vehicles and agreements.

Josh is Chairman and President of The Safe Harbor Foundation and a director of the Sunflower Children's Home in Peru. He received his B.A. in Latin American Studies from Brigham Young University. He is fluent in Spanish.
